So let me get this straight, a buyer for the Washington DC government's Chief Technology Officer was busted for fraud, bribery etc along with the corporate individual doing all the bribing etc. The head of that DC government office was Obama's CIO appointment.

So the headline reads "Obama appointee on leave":shakehead

Nice:irked:

I altered the title of the thread. It seems a unnecessarily political to bring the President's name into it at this stage.

An aide to President Barack Obama is on leave from his White House job after the FBI raided his old District of Columbia government office Thursday, arresting a city employee and a technology consultant on corruption charges, a White House official said.

The charges were lodged against the two men at a federal court hearing as the FBI finished searching the city's technology office, which was led until recently by Obama's new computer chief, Vivek Kundra.

Kundra is on leave from his White House job until further details of the case become known, according to a White House official speaking on condition of anonymity because the official did not want to publicly discuss personnel matters.

if you could expand your fantasy writing by 2-300 pages, you could sell it on Amazon.com

FBI raids former offices of Obama's choice for CIO
President Obama last week chose Vivek Kundra, former District of Columbia CTO, as federal CIO. On Thursday, the FBI raided Kundra's old offices, which coincided with two arrests as part of a bribery sting.

The guy will submit his resignation, which is a sight better than the Clinton days where he would be found in west Little Rock with a bullet in the head or like Mary Mahoney, at a DC Starbucks with two bullets in the head

As the raid took place, Kundra [the Obama appointee] was giving a speech at FOSE - an annual government technology expo - about changing the way the government purchases materials from vendors.

 [mr.rogers]Can you say irony?[/mr.rogers]

Apparently we don't have enough corrupt American vendors and need to out source our graft.

I tried to steer this discussion away from politics but some folks evidently don't understand the rules.
