Each driver can receive a maximum of 15 fantasy points during each race, and each team can earn up to 25 fantasy points. Drivers earn fantasy points in four ways.
1) Drivers will be awarded a fantasy point for each Grand Prix point they earn based on their race finish position.
2) Drivers are awarded 3 points for a first place qualify, 2 points for second and 1 point for third.
3) Drivers will receive one bonus point for completing the race
4) Drivers will earn one bonus point if they lead any lap during the race.

Teams will be awarded the sum of their two drivers fantasy points.

You receive the total points earned by all active drivers on your team provided that they have not already been active in four races (see the Maximum Starts section for more information). If a race is officially cancelled, no fantasy team will receive any points for that race. All other scoring rules stay the same. If qualifying or a race is delayed or postponed, no points will be awarded until it is completed.


Each driver in Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Grand Prix can be an active member of your team in no more than four races. Once a driver has reached the four-race limit, he will no longer accumulate any fantasy points for your team even if he occupies an active roster spot. This limit does not change no matter when you join the game.

Your driver's start totals will not reset at that half-way point of the season. If you start your driver four times during the first half of the season, he will not be eligible to earn ANY fantasy points (neither qualifying nor start points) for the remainder of the season.

If you reach the four-race limit for a driver on your current roster, you will not be able to release him and subsequently reacquire him. You may keep the driver on your roster, but he will no longer accumulate any points. If a driver is on your active roster for a given race but does not drive in that real-life event, he will not be credited with a race started. The number of races each driver has started for you will be listed along with all of his other stats.


All eligible drivers were divided into two groups - A and B - based on previous performance in actual races. In addition there is one group for all teams. The groupings are set at the start of the season, and drivers will not be moved between groups at any time during the season. However, additional drivers may be added at any point during the season.

Use the Select links on your Edit Team Page to choose your squad. You must choose an four-man team which includes one member from the 'A List', two from the 'B List' and one from the 'Teams List'.

They crew on Speed noted last night that the teams that have the unique difusers were the teams that were not part of the rule making group and all the teams with the normal difusers were part of the rule making group.

It makes me think that the rule making group meant to ban the difuser modifications but their rule writing skilz let them down. So those teams did not look to the difuser because they were going off what they thought they wrote vs what they actually wrote. oops.

If friggin Max wasn't so hell bent on jacking with the rules this would not have happened.:flame:

I have used up all my Brawn, but I still have two units of Button left, plus the full-four race block of Redbull. I still have some Truli and Toyota in the tank as well, so there are still a lot of big point races out there for the taking.
