I'm trying to understand the point of it. Sounds like they're saying "I can only believe in my country as long as an Electoral majority agree with me."

I Guess I wasn't reading as deep as you guys...
We are in the closest thing to the 30's depression...and I just thought this was NICE .....

Its the Spirit - (of America) .. It made me think of...

The thought was good. I want to do something, too. Hell, I just bought a new American car.

But no freaking country next time, ok? :saywhat:

Gee, it's kind of late for a Buy American movement.

Twenty years ago I tried to purchase only American made items. I realized it was a futile effort, as entire classes of consumer products (clothes and electronics, for example) were no longer made here.

I may be cynical, but it looks like nothing more than a play to swing the Christian Right movement to the left.

Anything that has line like this

My brother’s welding chassis at the plant
He’s earning what our granddad did in 1948
has zero credibility.

That was written by people who haven't the faintest clue what the standard of living was in 1948.

The words born again have always made me instantly sick.
No matter the direction whoever's shepherd's words blow.

You're nearly a laugh
But you're really a cry.

I tried that till one 4th of july saw an american flag that said "made in china".

Then I just gave up and headed off to walmart to buy chinese made stuff.
