I got my new computer a couple weeks ago and have since been doing some laps on the old rFactor. Hot lapping is fun, but I was wondering if anyone races with this program and would like to do a little online racing.

I was playing it earlier this month; I dowloaded the '94-'95 & 05-06 CART/Champcar carsets and a bunch o' tracks. Then my wheel died (x-axis doesn't respond).

I'll let you know when I'm racing again.

Dood. I'm hooked on it. Definitely worth it.

Go here http://www.rfactorcentral.com/ for all the mods and tracks. Got some good old CART stuff.

Rfactorcentral is indeed a quality site. I have been using the 2007 F3 Euro Mod lately. I will have to try out the CART mod. I just need to get V1.255 installed, it is on my puter but I am lazy.

I started and ran this league for 4 years. I gave it one of the drivers and he still has it going. I'm sure they could use someone and it looks like their new F1 season starts up in March.

Good racers. No aids except auto clutch and auto shift if you need it. Some very, very fast guys run in this thing.

I'm going to buy it in the next week or two. I was going to start with some of the lower formula cars but if you guys want to do some online racing I'm in. I would like to share set up information with someone. I think I'm going to be way behind everybody else on set ups.

I have been having a blast racing the Formula Nippon open-wheelers.

That would be a fun mod to do some lapping with. I am available all the time if we want to have some glorified practice time.

The Atlantics mod is also a fun car.

Spun out in pits and lost wheel, therefor decided to see if I could make it over the pit wall onto the front straight.

My hypothesis was confirmed by a successful test. (took me 3 tries to get correct angle of attack)

I just got my steering wheel. Give me a track and a basic setup we can all start from and a week for two to get everything set up. And all you other guys pitch in. After we have some fun with this, we can move on to somebody else's favorite track and car.
