I am shocked that you would accuse Sir Frank Williams of such a thing.

More so, that livery is not going to show up well on TV and they clearly didn't spend much time or money on it.

Testing livery. Same as last year's.

That was the Williams mentality back when they were winning World constructors and drivers championships in the early to late 1990s.

Their unveiling was always, "here's the car and they go off and win the first race of the season"

I don't care what anyone says, even with the current, "my car is uglier than your car" spec, that color looks good. Combined with the garage background, it screams no-nonsense, get the job done mentality, which in racing means fast.

Of course, we are talking about Williams, so what are the odds?

The color scheme was way better with Mild Seven though.

That camera shot in the rain looks fabulous, even in lo-res on a computer screen. Imagine how excellent a hi-res image would look.

I like the looks of the sidepods.

I'm hearing lots of negatives about their looks, but I think they ALL look better than last year. :) When's the 1st chance for a valid comparison to previous lap times?

I just realized that the Williams has slicks. It makes you realize how ugly those grooved tires were.

If they just hadn't ruined the wings...

They did a deal with Flybrid for an off-the-shelf KERS while everybody else was dinking around with batteries, so they have been testing it for months while everybody else has been scratching their butts figuring out how to get their system working.

Might be pretty good odds this year.

Me too. They must be happily surprised that no other team took up the mechanical storage of energy. They'll have a monopoly on it for the first 6 months.

Williams: Cost-cutting rules saved team

Frank Williams has admitted that the cost-cutting rule changes - instigated by the FIA and the Formula One Teams' Association - provided a lifeline for his team.

Renault has traditionally used yellow as their signature color. They are not true French patriots.:D

Now that ING has cut off the cash, the only thing blue about that team will be Flav's balls. No more cash strapped supermodels for you :D
