My 15 minutes of Fame .. revisited

Finally scanned a copy of this Ford Motorsports ad that came out about a year after Michael Andretti's barrel roll crash at Mid-Ohio. I was working quick response in Turn 8 for the race.

I never knew that I would end up in this, but remember spring of 2000, getting home from work, and grabbing the new Motor Trend magazine that came in the mail.

I started flipping the pages, and just about shrieked when I saw the ad with my photo in it. (I am in third photo down, furthest on the right)

I am currently having it blown up to poster size so I can have it framed.

Helped make sure his ass didnt catch fire at the time.

Never forget seeing the engine block cracked open, and seeing the pistons and rods on the inside of the block. I completely emptied my 25lb bottle on it under the instruction of the CART Safety guy next to me.
