My boys are heavily into them - the older one now doing robotics.

We get tons of mailings and I found a couple coupons in one that
someone can probably put to good use.

They are both free child admission w/paid adult admission.

One is for Legoland in California, one for the new Legoland Discovery
Center in Chicago (Schaumburg)

We thought about a trip to the Chicago place, but I think my boys
are too old for it.

Let me know if you can use them. They expire at end of the year.

You're kidding, right. I'm 43 and I want to go. :gomer:

Wasn't there a discussion about making IRL sleds out of Legos instead of carbon fiber? Something about offering the same level of driver protection while being easier to reassemble after a trip through the grater. ;)

Update....

Geoffrey (age 13) and his Lego League team qualified this past weekend for the Minnesota State Championships in January. They also brought home some hardware for best Research Project !!

It might be a long shot, but if they do well at state, they could move on to Nationals/Worlds in Atlanta.

Check out www.usfirst.org it's an organization started by Dean Kamen (Segway) to get kids interested in science and technology. Starts with young kids building with legos and moves all the way to high school teams building good sized robots . Very cool stuff.
