Looks like this fellow went to a lot of the same races we did.

Which begs the question - what was the peak year for IMSA GTP? I'd say '87 or '88, although I always liked the Tulius Jags better than the later Walkinshaw cars.

Wow, tough call. It would be hard to argue with 87-88. There were quite a few cars and teams capable of winning from week to week. In addition to that there were all kinds of guest drivers from Indy as well as Le Mans.

Sigh.

Is that photo from the time David was driving the March or actually from when he drove the 320it? I don' 'member the the GTP/1st Nat'l connection but do on the 3-car...

I always liked the Tulius Jags Sigh.... everytime I see a picture of a Rolex DP car this is what I remember.
