Anybody have any experience with Panasonic equipment. I'm looking for something like http://www.ubid.com/Panasonic_DMR-EZ47VK_DVD_Recorder_%2fVRC_Combo%2c_Built-In_ATSC_Tuner/a902294850.html

TIA

I have one virtually identical to that one, I'm pretty happy with it. No expert opinion, but no problems or issues, either.

I have a DMR-E50, which is an old model(DVD recorder only). It's somewhat finicky, and the interface (physical on the remote, and the software) is crappy. Some of the older disks don't play anymore.

I'd hope they have greatly improved the newer units.

Search AVS Forum by the model number to see if there is any feeback amongst the 10 billion posts there. Otherwise, I usually check Amazon, CNet and some general GOOG searches to for reviews/feedback. I have a Panny DVD upconvert player, and it does fine. I also had a Panny progressive scan that died after a couple of years, but did fine until then. (Besides that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?)
