FORMULA One will only survive for one more year unless drastic spending cuts are implemented, FIA president Max Mosley has warned.

If the Max/Bernie vision of dumping the western stalwarts for empty Tilke squiggles in the desert, dwarf wings, engines that have to last a whole season and other such jackassery is the future, I think I'm OK with it going bust in a year.

if F1 is in trouble, Max is a big reason

the global economy is in the process of cutting costs in F1

So let it go broke.

Someone more capable will gladly remake F1 as it should and could be.

F1 is dead.

Yup. It's been a reanimated corpse for quite some time now. I can't wait until the WDC goes to the Euroseries F3 champion.

Looks like FTG taught Bernie a thing or two about running a series. :tony:

I understand that to mean that Bernie doesn't want to give teams that finish at the bottom of the championship any more money, so they'd rather it just be cheaper for them to run.

F1: Cut Mad Max or costs are doomed.

There is no way that developing KERS etc is cheaper than running consistent regulations...

Ferrari's helping. Goin' back to the lollipop!:) And, big deal, so they lose 3 teams and 6 cars, 20 is just a number, right?

When we convene the firing squad in the Hague for the bankers Max and Bernie need to be added to the list. :\
