Just sounds childish to me, as opposed to blatantly racist. I deplore discrimination and prejudice, but this seems more ill conceived than anything.

In their mind's, they were not intentionally trying to demean. Just where does one draw the line?

with their extensive history w/ soccer and that F1 business last year, merely "ill-conceived" is about as good as it could get for them

So if someone refers to drunken Micks, do I get to file a complaint with the government or something?

Do slanting eyes imply inferiority?

Everyone needs to get ****ing over themselves.

Most people have forgotten that Spain was a backward and somewhat isolated authoritarian state until 1975 and at times their lack of social sophistication still shows.

Spain has had a pretty great year, athletically speaking, so it's particularly bad form to be slagging on others.
