My guess is someone is letting loose with some shares to manipulate the price and snooker investors to dump their shares at a cheap price.

Then when it is back up at 3.00 to 3.50 a share, cash in and make a tidy 40% profit.

It's almost as though the investers just got around to reading the first quarter results. I don't think there's any way to manipulate the price back up to $3.50 a share in the short term unless clear evidence of a buyout plan emerges.

The question is at what price does Forsythe make his move? And where does Vannini stand in this? Autoweek suggested that he was looking to sue someone if there was a buyout, but I don't believe Forsythe or CART have done anything that wasn't essential to the survival of the series.

CART's second quarter financials will be a critical time for the stock. That's where we will really get an idea just how much cash CART will burn this year and whether they'll be able to continue into next season without some kind of cash infusion.

There was a rumor of a special BoD meeting on another board today (no, not from Silly Baloney). No details and I'm not sure if it's true.

MPH has been stair-stepping down for around a month. But other than the 10Q, I've seen no news.
