Going to the dogs (http://www.indycar.com/news/?story_id=11904)

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. - Dan Wheldon couldn't resist the cute smile and expressive eyes - of his wife, Susie, playfully interacting with the puppies at a pet store in St. Petersburg, Fla., earlier this week.

[i]Puppy on his left: What gives? This teat doesn't work!

So the Wheldon family doubled in size this week as the newlyweds welcomed Molly, a Toy Poodle, and Maverick, a Chihuahua. Dan grew up with dogs around the house in Emberton, England, while Susie was a "cat person."

"Everybody knows I'm pretty fussy about making sure everything is neat and organized and I couldn't see myself with a 100-pound Rottweiler running around the house," Dan Wheldon said. "You should have seen Susie's face when she saw these two dogs, and there was no way we were leaving without them."

And you thought the CART/Champ Car media department was clueless.:tony:

What's with the hair?

He's just using it and the hair to emphasise what we already knew about him.

Those are lap dogs, the 18th century version of the vibrator.

With all the pet overpopulation in the US, they got the dogs at a pet store and not the local SPCA/shelter? They probably really overpaid for those dogs.

small voice: I'm incredibly jealous of the shine in Wheldon's hair.

This must be the futility thread.

Many cars having problems. Wheldon ran out of talent, Castro has gearbox issues, and I'm not sure what's going on with Wilson.

They call them Crapwagons for a very good reason. ;)

On a side note- Larry Curry was fired again from Roth racing and TG will open his wallet for Tracy for only 2 races maybe-

from Indystar-

Etc.
Veteran team manager Larry Curry, who was released from his Vision Racing position earlier this season by Tony George amid the use of illegal wings, left a similar post at Roth Racing following Sunday's race. Marty Roth's team fielded only one car at The Glen and has struggled for results and sponsorship. . . . George said he only has enough sponsorship for driver Paul Tracy for one or two races. George expects to know more this week about the chances of putting the popular (and unemployed) Canadian in a car for the July 26 race in Edmonton.
