The reason Perera is out is because his sponsor pulled out. Basically, he was a ride buyer. Sucks. But, Bachelart is always about renting rides. Even if you have a little money and a result, you will always get booted the next race if the check doesn't clear. Some guys like Coyne, Walker, Nunn, Rocketsport might hold off on collecting the money if your word is golden, but not Bachelart. You don't pay, you don't race, pure and simple; no matter what.

Hey another good driver for AMLS, that's what I say. Besides, being out of an IRL ride beats being a hurt IRL driver and we all know the odds of that happening....

Yes the post title is clearly slanted pro-IRL. It should read 'Perera Released' or 'Perera receives new Lease on Life' or 'Perera Pardoned' if you like alliteration. ;)

Isnt Camera the guy who hit the wall on the victory lap or something last year (kinda like Gurreiro spinning out on the parade lap while on pole at Indy)

Racing is a business first. I don't blame Bachelart.
