I'm not normally one to drag stuff in from other forums, but this reminded me too much of Biff not to share. The topic is DirecTV and why the won't allow a trial period where you can try their service and DVR without committing to one or two years of service.

Your and your fricking trial crap. A Benz is is a superior to a Chevy. Yes Mercedes-Benz does not have a trial period.

Till a few Months ago, Cingular/AT&T wireless is SUPERIOR to verison here. There was not 30 day grace period. Why does Verison offer one? Because the service sucks so bad, they know you will WANT to leave in less than 30 days.

DTV is confident in thier prodcust that they don't need it. Get it?

If someone was offering bad service, they'd want to lock you into a long term contract. If DTV were confident in their product, they would have no problem offering a free trial period. Bif is smarter.

I don't pay too much attention to spelling (anymore), since I can't spell either. :D

Follow this link at your own risk. It isn't NSFW but it is the "true interweb post" that has freaked me out most recently.

As ridiculous as it seems, you only need to read the comments on YouTube or Digg to see that the idiocy out there is nearly boundless. The only thing more frightening than some of the comments is that many of them are written with the absolute conviction that you and not they are the idiot.

When Yahoo tried allowing commentary on their news stories it was open season on boundless idiocy. I noticed some time later than they stopped allowing it and never wondered why for an instant. :gomer:
