A bit over the top and self indulgent, but a cool project nevertheless.

Too bad that, in over a year, they've managed to complete a grand total of one car, and it's pretty fugly. But then, given Oliver Kuttner's past exploits on and off track, none of that is terribly surprising.

Oliver Kuttner! I remember him running something called a Pegasus-BMW in WSC around 1994 with sponsorship from some bio-product lubricant that clearly didn't work very well in a BMW V8. at the memory!

That's the guy. Ugly-ass car too (the Pegasus...though the Ford GT didn't turn out much better).

He's since become a real pain in the ass commercial developer just up the road from here, using tax dollars to build the real estate equivalent of the Pegasus.

It's perfect that the picture you link of the Pegasus is one where it is getting a tow in!

I like this pic better:

^^^^^

That is one really weird car -- from the doors forward it is an '80's Lotus Esprit...

From my limited memory, that was pretty much its natural state of being. Seano's pic is the one I was originally looking for, though. Between that and the Cannibal, it's a wonder WSC didn't get more flack than it did.

I hope Kevin Doran got paid up front and in cash.
