VW Toureg-based biodiesel V10 stuffed into the back of Radical's first-ever P1? I give it 10 laps. Sounds like it may stick around for the season, though.

Super color accents.

Should go over well with the North FLA rednecks in the Green Park. If they ever actually look at it.

Part of the bodywork is apparently made from hemp.

Make that 5 laps. In practice.

The hemp version of fiberglass is every bit as strong as regular fiberglass. It isn't carbon fiber but they still use some fiberglass in some of the LMPs.

Tell that to the hardcore fans and they'll be gathering around to inhale while it burns to the ground.... ;)

i love sportscars, but the peugeot and audi are ugly. the biggest problem with the audi is the spikes on top of the roll hoops! looks soooooo dopey and the whole front end of the peugeot while effective is ugly

They didn't get the homologation paperwork done:rolleyes:

He says that they will miss Sebring & Long Beach but they will join the series at the Utah race. That would be nice. I'll believe it when I see it with my own eyes on May 16th.

One of the drivers posted on another forum last week, sounds like it was a really thrown-together situation. That they were scrambling for a local in Sebring to machine a new bellhousing doesn't exactly instill confidence in their efforts. :shakehead

Lots of stuff gets lost over the Trinidad and Bahamas.

Not entirely related, but not worth its own thread. Spotted at Sebring today, from the ALMS forum:

Ummm.... I see the sentiment, but I am missing the relevance.

A reasonable facsimile thereof.

I'm easily amused.

It seems it didn't even last 10-laps: http://www.motorsport.com/news/article.asp?ID=282095&FS=ALMS

Too bad.
