Race 1 (http://www.nascar.com/races/cup/2008/101/data/lineup.html) | Race 2 (http://www.nascar.com/races/cup/2008/102/data/lineup.html)

By my count I see

11 drivers with at least one Champ Car or IRL start,
9 drivers with at least one Champ Car or IRL win,
4 Indy 500 champions,
2 Champ Car champions,
3 IRL champions,
2 Formula One GP winners, and
1 Formula One World Driving Champion

Wow. That's all I have to say, wow. :shakehead

Personally, I like when they run two races like this because it gives me double the opportunity to not care. :tony:

I remember offending a group of people once when I went on a rant about Jimmy Buffett. Jaws were dropping.

I've learned to keep my mouth shut around NASCAR fans.

What's the deal with the triple digit car numbers? Boris Said 160, Sterling Marlin 109.

Maybe, maybe not. In the 60s and early 70s NASCAR was actually a racing series instead of a motorized billboard deployment system.
