Legge's contract with KK is apparently up. Word was she tested well with Audi for DTM.

How will we compete without a girl?

I wish her well. Last year was a disaster for her and mostly not her doing.

Written by: Champ Car Communications
Sebring, Fla. – 2/2/2008

GF says he's fully committed to competing for the championship. Pays PT the money. Hires him Siwieck from NHL to wrench the car. And... the new guy gets it sorted out on the first day?

Uh oh.

Let's get the first couple of races out of the way before we start questioning GF or PT's commitment to winning the championship. There's no prize money or championship points awarded for fastest lap at a test session.

It's nice to see that the field was reltively close for fastest lap. Just a touch over a second from worst to first. Hopefully that will tighten up under competition.

In the Speed article, Tracy said that all of his engineers swiped from other teams were trying out their "known" setups from last year, so they spent hours doing major changes on his car, rather than getting laps in.
