Fur Sure :D

Is lethal injection on hold for dogs too until the Supreme Court rules?

I remember this happening recently. Someone at home and the dog set off the gun.

I guess the gun owner shouldn't have switched to the generic Beggin Strips after all....

Loaded shotgun in the bed of a pickup with the safety off. :shakehead Yeah, the second amendment combined with a room temperature IQ and/or alcohol is always a high Darwin Award potential.

:shakehead I vote y'all "most non-funny" for the year.

He was a well liked person who made a mistake and paid the ultimate price.

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/5434984.html You're right Nut, there's not a damn thing funny about a grown man that's entrusted with teaching children who blatantly ignores safe gun handling practice and causes a tragedy as a result. There is, however, bitter irony.

Driving 120mph on a heavily traveled road isn't a mistake and neither is setting down a gun, anywhere, with a round chambered. Both are choices and both are violations of common sense. That was in the top 5 never-do list when I went through the NRA gun safety course when I was 10 and I've seen a lifetime of demonstrations why it was. How "well liked" would he be if someones kid or father had been on the receiving end of his choice to be lazy?

IMO the law enforcement people interviewed should be ashamed as well for perpetuating a myth they know to be false. Guns go off and people get hurt with mind numbing regularity when they are laid down with a round chambered. The fact a dog discharged the gun rather than a drop to the floor or a curious little kid is a distinction without a difference.
