That is the most BOGUS thing I've ever seen. NASCAR sucks..

Penske Racing have been given permission to let Sam Hornish take Kurt Busch's owner points for the start of the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup.
The switch means that the three-time IndyCar Series champion will be locked into the field for the first five races of the season, as the top 35 cars in owner points are guaranteed a place on the grid.

It does, for a lot of reasons... this year was gauling, how many times did 'dinger get screwed by 35/8?? :shakehead

Fastest 43 should be out there, period, full-stop. If you can't qualify 43rd or better, you shouldn't be out there.

You are confusing NASCAR with motorsport. They have little in common.

Yup. That's the reason the old school guys like Martin, Rudd, Bill Elliot, Kyle Petty & Terry Labonte are all bailing out.

i think for Martin he just keeps falling into greener pastures without driving full time. he referred to his job as similar to rick mears at penski when joining ginn racing?, he'll never have a problem getting a car in the race. he's one driver that's deserving of the big cup more than many that have it.
