Or big dollars. The annual BRW top 50 sports earners of 2007 has been released, with a couple of suprises.

BRW's Annual Top 50 Sports Earners List

1. Greg Norman (golf) $20 million (gross income for 2007)
2. Harry Kewell (soccer) $11 million
3. Mark Webber (motor sport) $8.4 million
4. Adam Scott (golf) $8.1 million
5. Lleyton Hewitt (tennis) $8 million
6. Chad Reed (motor sport) $7.8 million
7. Andrew Bogut (basketball) $7.1 million
8. Lucas Neill (soccer) $7 million
9. Mat Mladin (motor sport) $6.6 million
10. Mark Viduka (soccer) $6.5 million
Selected:
14. Casey Stoner (motor sport) $4.2 million

Chad Reed and Mat Mladin are virtually unknown in Australia outside of motor-racing circles, yet they are in the top ten of OZ sports earners. Both earned more than world champ Casey Stoner. :\ :)

Greg Norman isn't earning $20mm playing golf in the US. That's got to be income for course design work, etc. He didn't play in a single PGA event event in '07, and he hasn't won an event in years. I'm also fairly certain he hasn't played in any Senior PGA events this year.

EDIT: he's only played a handful of tourneys the past two years, and hasn't won a PGA event since '97.

Both, I don't see much of his wine @ the local shoppe. He's done some courses in SC near where my mom lives in Hilton Head. I think the course design business is making far more $$$.

Total earnings, not just winnings or wages. Any dollars from adverts are in there too.

The only Greg Norman news I've seen lately is about his divorce settlement.

Edit: He and Chris Evert have just announced their engagement.
