Forgot to thank you for the heads-up. The BMW show was amazing. I can't believe they sell enough cars to pay for the incredible infrastructure they created. The robotic systems, the Aluminum/Magnesium hybrid engine block research and equipment, dip tanks for the special primers, painting technology (only 1 gallon per car!), etc.

I thought the best tidbit from the bmw show was them recently learning the blue/white emblem had nothing to do with aviation but came from the Bavarian flag.

bmw believed and told the spinning prop story as well. they didn't explain how they found it was from the bavarian flag only showing it...
