Was Manning's car this clean around the engine cover for the race at Brands Hatch? Not only have they taken the winglets just in front of the rear tires, but the whole cowling is much neater.

Manning has a low downforce package. Monteiro is in the high downforce configuration which does no good at all for a high speed oval. The winglets in front of the rear tires are a dead giveaway as to which configuration the cars are in.

Ahhh.. but it's that cowling extension on Mannings car, which was stuck on for exhaust flow, :D that had everyones shorts in a knot. :laugh:

Yes, that's it -- the whole engine cowl is longer and cleaner than that on the other Reynard I linked in.

I bet Walker and Van Demien get some orders for that piece between this weekend and Milwaukee.

You just knew someone would have a creative interpretation of the single setup rule for those 2 races. Who'd have thought it be Walker. :D
