I don't see Bill Buckner on that list, so it's flawed. ;)

Honestly, his driving today was deserving of all time chokage honors. What a dumbass.

That Yankees thing is out of place. It's not even the biggest choke in the Yankees / Red Sox rivalry. For that you have to go back to the 1978 Boston Massacre.

The Yankees haters will never let that one go. It will forever make the choke list.

The 78 Sox blew far more games in far more dramatic fashion.

In 04 when the Yankees failed to win game 4, many looked at the pitching match ups ahead and figured the Yankees were in big trouble. Brown pitching 7 was hopeless. Few thought Mussiina and Lieber would match their game 1-2 performances because they hadn't done that well all year.

Ohhh please. The Yankee haters will never let that go? There's a reason only 3 professional teams have ever come back to win a best of 7 after going down 0-3. It's a monumental collapse for every team that's on the wrong side.

A 17 1/2 game lead at mid season, And 5 straight losses to the Yanks polish it off. Now that is choking.

Yankee haters have convieniently short memories.

Hey, the Cubs won the Series in 1908. That's a pretty long choke.

Bit harsh. His mistake was his attempted pass on Alonso, but that didn't cost him the title.

Devon Loch

Can a horse choke? It would seem so. The Queen Mother's Horse was virtually out of sight and cruising to victory 50 metres from home in the 1956 Grand National before inexplicably slipping over, allowing ESB to sneak through. Also Alex Ferguson's favourite choker - the Scot always raises the possibility of a 'Devon Loch' when a side lead Manchester United by 10 or more points.
