What would've been funny is if he got injured doing that.

probably the only board where both Schumi and Favre are both "overrated". :shakehead

He can do no wrong. For the last four seasons, until this one, he has been almost Grossman-esque, with the "---- it I'm going long" mentality, but instead of getting skewered like Grossman/McNabb/Eli/Peyton (pre Super Bowl)/Steve Young/Elway when those guys tried to do too much, he gets, from every single announcer, the "Oh, but he just wants to win SOOO BAAAAAD" routine. :yuck: Like the other guys didn't want to win? Why is he not held to the same standard? Why are his feet never held to the fire?

Because the media overrates him -- they think he's Green and Yellow Jesus. Because the media tells the general population that he's Green and Yellow Jesus, the general population believes he's Green and Yellow Jesus. Sure, he's freaking good -- when he's on his game, like this season, his touch is fantastic, he has an incredible arm, and a great will to win. But when he's bad, he's really freaking bad, and nobody will call him on it. Because he's GYJesus.

Like the Bears of the 80s, the Packers of the 90s should have won multiple championships. They were absolutely dominating. (At least they made it to two, more than can be said for the Bears)

He's one of the best 12 quarterbacks ever in the NFL. One of the best 5, some saying the best ever? That's insanity.

Just for you WB. Check out the 5 min mark. :D

One thing I think you would agree with is Favre has more fun playing football than any QB in history. The photo says that too. I think that's why folks cut him slack.

I was just coming in here to bring this up.

I saw Caliendo live on Saturday night ... absolutely brilliant. Of course, with Madden and Presidents Bush and Clinton, we all knew what was coming and laughed our asses off anyway. Outside of that, he does dead on impersonations of Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, Andy Rooney, Jerry Seinfeld, Michael Richards as Kramer, Adam Sandler, Terry Bradshaw, Charles Barkley, Kermit the Frog, Jim Rome, and many others. He even worked a Sesame Street joke into his Madden bit ... "Near ... :runs away: ... Favre!"

The man is a genius. I love his Pacino: "The man can make any saying impressive, such as You sir are liar. Liar, Liar. Your pants... are on FIIIIIIIIIIIIIRE!!!"

It doesn't work as the typed word, but if you've seen it you know what I mean.
