So this amateur inventor, who has the cancer researchers excited one of his inventions that may kill cancer cells with radio waves, now claims that in that research he his machine can burn saltwater and has the chemistry field all a buzz.

I'm going to send him a letter and ask that the starts work on invisiblilty and teleportation. Oh, and light sabers.

I saw this a while ago, maybe a month ago.

Fundamental question: Does the buring hydrogen create more energy than the microwave generator consumes?

I have a guess at the answer...

Ask him if he's going to start a 2-car ALMS LMP2 Porsche team.

Internet commentary upon Kanzius and Roy's assertion points out that creating fire from salt water is possible by first separating it into hydrogen, oxygen, sodium and chloride, then burning the sodium. However, such a process would consume much more energy than it produces.

Yup. It still might be useful if it can generate radiowaves from an energy source that is otherwise hard to use or get into a vehicle.

On another note:

Roy is also a specialist in Christian sexuality.

What's that?

He only makes with Christian woman?

In the missionary position?

Requires screaming, "Oh God!"?

See if he can get KK and FTG to kiss and make up. All that other **** is easy compared to that.

One of the lesser known fundamental laws of this universe is:

Journalists have absolutely no knowledge of science.

This law is proven on a daily basis in newspapers, magazines, on TV and the internet.:shakehead

Like I said, I saw this a while ago, some local network new station profiled the guy.

I figured that it got lost, cuz some geeky student-intern pointed out the error.

Nope. Month later, it's hitting all the outlets.

I wonder how many MPGs you'd get by running Salt Walther as fuel instead. I hear the only thing he's doin' is time...

Former TV exec Kanzius sez he's waiting for the patent for his process before revealing all the details. Unfortunately for him, a patent's already been granted for the technique of liberating hydrogen from saltwater with RF. Coincidentally (or not), he ran into precisely the same problem when he tried to patent his RF cancer therapy. Next up: AM Radio!

As if that wasn't enough, he's hooked up with Rustum Roy, who's a big proponent of homeopathy- y'know, he argues that water retains a memory of stuff that used to be in it, even if none of the stuff kinda sorta technically exists in the sample at the moment.

Pure comedy.
Never underestimate the human capacity for gullibility.

someone should let shell & BP know their 5+ year old localized H2 production fill stations were stolen from the future.
