Damn. My schnauzer just bit me on the ass and that can only mean one of two things -- that he needs to crap or its the Last Foyt Futility Watch for 2007!

OMFG! I could *** in the excitement, if only Salma Hayek were here!

Will the Flying Franchitti make his air miles and get a free flight home to Scotland for the off season?

Exactly how long is Ashley's off season? -- seems like her two guest appearances on STNG were a long time ago in another universe...

Will Danica pull her Nomex™ panties out of a wad and actually win a race?

After how many laps and for which car/driver failure will Mikey whine?

Will TCGR go openly bi-sexual or just stay ghey in the closet?

Will Team Penske Smokesbroker still pimp the product in 2008?

How long can Scott Sharp keep the Patron sponsorship before the embalming fluid dissipates? Or is it just the Patron?

Can anybody after Robert Daley actually write about motorsports?

Where will Honda spurt its next wad in dirty seconds after To¥ota?

Will Booby Rahole retain the Ethanol sponsorship or just keep loving the corn liquor and anybody but his wife?

Will Foyt Racing ever win? Or is he just throwing iPhones in the pits these days?

I'd go on, but the rest are probably libelous...

The Nextel circus is in town and there's all kindsa chatter that Dario in a Ganassi Cab next year is a done deal.

Could the gomerati handle losing The Series Champ and Poster Boy 2.0 to cabs in one shot?

I'm happy with Dashley winning. I have a friend on the team and he gets a nice fat payday (after Tony Tax, mind you) and he's worked his *** off this year.

Plus he gets to pay next time we are out fer beers.

good for dario, he has deserved an AOW title for years, and the IRL one is the most competitive one there is at the moment (save for USAC Midget, Sprint or WOO)

Deserved? What you mean is he outlasted his own stupid mistakes in this OW comedy of errors. He deserved nothing and in fact had snot run out of gas a few seconds earlier we'd have had Dashely airborne again for like the seventh time this year. Surviving stupidity is what he got and thankfully (i'm sure he'd agree) his IRL career is over without his maiming or death. So, I guess THAT is deserved. Good on him for collecting YEN and living/walking away to talk about it.

Usual back markers at the dull end of the stick.

Usual suspects run out of talent and spin for no apparent reason.

Milkey Doughnuts team was seen recording her lap times with a sundial.

Danicle spins on pit road and has her usual tantrum. I really hope someone posts that audio. Nightmare of her life, I'm sure. But was she taking one for the team? I don't think she's good enough to spin on purpose.

Not sure why there is 529 laps of yellow for a spin on Pit In that is taken care of in about 90 seconds. Hope Brian B. spends his spiff from Honda/Green racing wisely.

Gotta say, very good crowd. (Hurts to type that and now I have go wash my hands several times in very hot soapy water with a Brillo pad).

Ashley should not be allowed near cameras. As cool and charming as Dario comes off , she seems the exact opposite. Good Milky Doughnuts slam though.

What vomited on Mary Roth's car?

Jayski says that Dario to NASCAR is a done deal. 5 years, and he's taking the Canadian Club sponsorship with him.

I love how suddenly NASCAR has become the open-wheel driver refuge. First Juan, now next year we could have Dario, Jacques and Carp joining the fun.

Sandy always looked like all she was at the wrong race. I kept looking for a Mint Julip in her hand. Nice hats.

From what I read, Chip should've had Wheldon run out of fuel on-track. Does the Danica spin win AGR the championship? Does the AGR pit stop get Dario out in front of Dixon if they both come in for a splash?

Well if that's where the $$$ and sponsorship is. :( :shakehead Plus if these guys want to race longer they can there. How many years did Mark Martin race? And with the state of OWR in the US part of me doesn't exactly blame them. I may not like it, but...

The France Family is just setting up the next "good guy / bad guy" script for the coming years.

Furrin road racers invade good ol backwoods oval redneck Americana. They'll make a fortune in T shirt sales alone. I hope they choose Ward Burton as commentator.

Meira looked to have lost a wheel shortly after a stop and spun into the wall.

During his post crash interview he looked more depressed that any driver I've ever seen but he still bit his tongue and simply said "something broke" in the rear.

On another note, if Dario and his Honda salary and Canadian Club sponsorship are gone from AGR (and perhaps if Marco goes to NHL), how many cars will AGR run? Will the IRL field now be filled out with Chesson, Roth and Duno just to get to 17? Without their defending champion and last two 500 winners, and perhaps with Wheldon looking elsewhere, the field would not be much of a draw.

From the stand at WG I expected but was still taken aback by the level of hatred and bigotry instantly thrown JPM way when he was having words with Harvick. Even when the Jumbotron replay showed that JPM was shunted from behind, the loud rumblings around me was "Well, he is still a f#cking spic who can't speak English. Go the F@ck home!"

It's thirty years now since he first made noise in the ASA when he was in his late teens. Since he's from Arkansas, that still makes him old enough to be your grandpa. ;)

You must have missed the Hideo Fukuyama experiment a few years ago. Dude ran a handful of races, including one at Martinsville to which I just happened to take my father as his birthday present. Almost the entire crowd booed him, and numerous people within earshot let fly with the "Goddamn Jap!" and "This one's for Pearl Harbor!" routines. One of the more colorful and detailed rants was spouted forth by a gentleman who had to be escorted out before halfway due to public intoxication (and the fact that a size 50 ass can't wear 38 waist jorts).
