So, if PT is bumped from 6th to last in P4 does that mean he brought out the red right at the end and lost that time? Status report?

It's a French steamroller! FIVE "rookies" in the top 8, 4 Euro guys and one Lebanese:) The new vision is becoming quite clear.

Bourdais on pole (yawn), PKV owns row 2, PT starts DFL on the field, just over 4 seconds slower than Bourdais. What's going on with him?

Only ran 7 laps. I'd guess he either damaged the car or had mechanical issues. He was 2+ seconds faster in P3.

gravel.

That'll do it. On the plus side, he is started last, could be some fireworks, or at least some passing. Maybe he won't get taken out and become a non-factor again tomorrow.

I was kind of right. ;)

Big shame about Junqueira.

Also, conspiracy theory alert, any other team having trouble with the P2P, or just N/H/L? The whole field doesn't get to use it because N/H/L can't?

Will Power lost 2 spots early in the race and no one mentioned why that happened..... not saying it was the p2p but who knows.

A Bourdais non-win is always worth it.

Note that Wilson wins shortly after the team severs ties with Paulie Poledance. Coincidence?

I think so. It was entertaining to the end, not a lot of passing due in part do disabled P2P... but good race.

Big crowd! TV much better!

Yay! CCWS pulls off a couple of good new races.

Good job by RuSport. Rotten luck for Coyne. Whining from Seabass.

TV was better than Belgium but they still blew it on showing where Wilson came out relative to Junky.

That's four good, new events this year. Vegas, MawTraBla, Belgium, and Holland.

That kind of gets overlooked when we focus on the downside of China and Phoenix. Not to be a cheerleader, but those four races are pretty decent. Problem is, I can't easily or cheaply attend any of them. And that is my biggest fear with the new and improved Champ Car. I like going to races, not getting up at 6 am to watch them. It too damned early to drink!

Nonsense. That's why God invented Irish Coffee and Bloody Marys. They make early morning alcoholism socially acceptable. :D

I think Holland stands out in that group. Best attended, good track (road circuit!), most likely to stay on the calendar in the long run.
