Which one to watch? Istanbul or Zolder? I'll probably be switching back and fro. Don't see any repeats later in the day, at least in Canada. Rats.

This is true, but I have to stick to my promise to make CC 2nd to F1 after they pulled that crap. Until then, it would've been CC live and F1 after.

Maybe I'll watch F1 and CC during the F1 commercials...

I never watch a race live, you can't FF through all the comercials that way (and sometimes parts of a boring race). In fact, I barely watch anything live anymore.

Hmm now I realize I have this problem. My digital cable is one channel only, no tivo here and the Classic isn't on regular cable. It's no contest. F1 beats any other series any time any day. This also means I don't have to watch a race at Zolder and think of Gilles Villenueve's accident every lap. I still would have liked to have watched the Champ Car race. There's never any repeats right?

I've always put F1 first, but I'm a little surprised so many others do too.

The F1 season has been really something, the emergence of Hamilton and the ensuing rivalry with Alonso especially... gripping stuff, there's a lot on the line at every race. Turkey is a kick-ass track, too.

I would love to watch ChampCar, but they decided to schedule a European race against F1... who on this planet thought that was a good idea?? :shakehead I hope I still get a chance to see it, going to attempt to tape it or something.

They're racing in Europe. What do you want them to do? Change the start time of the race to be earlier or later? Air a tape delayed broadcast? Sheesh. They're doing right by their fans. If I wasn't sticking by my F1 over CC protest I'd really appreciate that more and watch the CC race live.

There is the possibility that the local tv production people that ccws has hired might actually be experienced which would be a pleasant change. Zolder looks to be gorgeous. I might listen to/watch the CCWS on the RD international feed with the tv muted and dvr the F1. Or since the dvr will be set to record both and the coverages start at 5:30 and 6:00 AM I might just sleep in...

True. It's a pity that Champ Car has such a short field b/c the championship hunt there is almost as good as F1.

I think that maybe the fact that there is no F1 replay later on Sunday is a factor. At gunpoint, I'd opt for F1. But I'm looking forward to both races.

Race Director sucked as well. The camera selections didn't match. Program was in car and in car was program. The video was really dark. The audio feed kept cutting in and out. During commercials they left the microphones on so I could hear background babbling by the announcers. There was no driver - pit radio available.
