I ran across these links while reading a fishing board I visit daily. These are tracks that are proposed to be built in Texas. Most seem to be some type of "resort" track.

Inevitable that track rentals for clubs to move to the next logical stage, track resorts. Not much different than a golf resort and probably not as expensive to build and maintain. Texas has a bigger market and better track weather than much of the country so it's not at all surprising that the rental market there is hot.

Our local track is booked solid with club rentals every day that CCWS and ALMS aren't running there, which adds up to a lot of days.

No big secret that it's a lot more fun to drive your own than watching others do it and these days some showroom stock cars are have 500hp+ under the fun pedal.
