1st F1 race. Led more laps than that Hamilton dude. I am sure he would have lapped the whole field if he had one of those super reliable Cosworths that won Williams both championships last year, at least that's what pchall keeps saying.

F the haters.

Good job? :)

His team made the right call to put him on wets and start from the pit lane while everyone else piddled around on dry tires in the pouring rain...

Although it was his first time driving an F1 car in the wet... so one has to be impressed that he didn't throw it off the track while leading his home GP. :D

The other 10 teams spend a whole lot more and couldn't figure out that starting on intermediates might be a good idea. :) They may need to add a few million to the budget to make sure that scenario isn't missed in the future. ;)

once the 5 minutes to go signal comes out, the none of the cars on the grid can change tyres. Winklehock , starting from pitlane, could put intermediates.

Spiker, did gamble with the full wets for the restart because they thought more rain was on the way in 5 minutes.

Every other team could've done the same thing. It would've saved them from making a green flag stop instead.

For $50 million per year, that's the best you can hope for in F1. Hope they enjoyed it.
