Champ Car has revealed a new team competition as it gears up for a sequence of three races in Canada.

The “Canadian Triple Crown” will give the team with the best average finish among its two drivers over the trio of Canadian events – which begins this week in Mont-Tremblant (July 1), continues next week in Toronto (July 8) and wraps up on July 22 at Edmonton – a special trophy and other Canadian-themed rewards.

I like the idea by having it with teams instead of an individual driver. I wonder how they treat Conquest Racing in this (even though that's probably quite a stretch)?

i hope prizes includes 1M USD to the winning team. prize money is one of the few avenues left to revive this series.

For those who may not know, that is poutine. [poo-teen]

Quebec delicacy. Fries, gravy and cheese curds. That be the brown lumps.
