Not much top level racing at Le Circuit Mont Tremblant lately, so the record is old.

Track record - qualification: Septembre 14, 2002 -- Didier Theys, Dallara Judd, 1:22,961 sec

I doubt that the Bus Stop chicane was used for the sports cars.

Any road course with a 120+ lap speed is a fine addition to the schedule. The only problem is that I'll be flat broke in the race trip budget when I get back from Germany. :(

Note: I've just seen a post about a 1:20 something lap done in 2005 in a 95 Reynard. Must have been a Boss series event.

I remember reading about that Reynard run. It was a demo run.

Currently, ALMS car owner Duncan Dayton holds the lap record at 1:20 flat with an ex-Jacques Villeneuve 1995 Champ Car Reynard, and it was used on the long circuit without the turn 6 chicane.

Natural road course, Euro-guys up top, no surprise. Fans should be happy at Assen and Zolder, too.

Yes, that's true. DD also has a couple other track records with that car.
