I think we've gone from humor to pity. It's becoming an automatic that he's dead last among the cars that hadn't had on track trouble and tonight is no exception.



Started 42nd on a provisional.

He's made on race on speed and one provision didn't count against him because only 43 cars showed up. I can't believe he has any provisional left, but I don't know the rules well enough to say.

Larry Futility finished 33rd.

With 14+ cautions, they must have crashed out enough to move him up nine places.

That's exactly what happened. The cars that finished behind Larry either had some kind of mechanical issue (ala Newman) or wrecked. When Larry was ahead of some cars on restarts he was quickly shuffled to the back of the line.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: This is the worst full time WC effort I have ever seen.

What happened to the Larry Foyt watch? They pulled it off the market because it was always running five minutes slow. :)
