The Mavs should just forfeit the rest of the series and save themselves the embarrassment. The Warriors won't even need 4 games to win 4, they will take it in 3.

Once again the NBA shows what a joke it has become by forcing the officials to rig that game in favor of those whiney tossers from Dallas. Guess Stern is more concerned about losing one of his big markets than the integrity of the sport.

i don't know what the reason is for not having an NHL thread. it is a real sport, and a personal favorite.

Cause the sport sucks now for alot of the oldtime hardcore fans like RTKar and myself.

I honestly can't think of one game that i've watched in full since the lockout - and I used to get to a few games a year before the lockout at the Joe... haven't bothered since.

Once they get rid of buttman and his bald gay lover daly, perhaps i'll be interested again. Find me a commish that will embrace the history of hockey and actually care about 'the game' before covering their ass.

I will agree that the shootout is the suck, but what else about the NHL since the lockout is less appealing. Granted, we still have to put up with the hell that is the neutral zone trap (except Cork), but I think the product is better since the lockout.

Have you watched any of the NBA playoff games, or are you just checking the box scores for a bandwagon like you usually do? :gomer:

The refs have been giving the benefit of the doubt to the player with the lighter skin complexion in just about every situation. Sloan (that's Utah's coach since you probably won't even know) can have his guys play extra aggressive knowing they would get the benefit of the doubt on just about every call. It's also no coincidence that every borderline call has gone against Stoudemire and in favor of Duncan (that's the Suns-Spurs series just so you don't have to look it up). :tony:

Of course, most of those "fouls" shouldn't be a foul in a sport, but it's too bad the refs are making that judgment based on skin color.

More evidence that the NBA is racist:

Stoudemire gets suspended for a pivotal game 5 for leaving the bench during an altercation. Duncan did the same thing earlier in that same game and got absoultely no punishment. Duncan has lighter skin color than Stoudemire.
Robert Horry got suspended for 2 games for a hard foul that in the past at worst resulted in no more than a 1 game suspension. Horry fouled a white player.
Stu Jackson, the guy that "handed out" those suspensions, is Black. Well, that should prove the NBA is not racist, right? That's what the NBA wants you to think. They intentionally put the most incompetent Black guy ever involved with NBA management (yes, even worse than Isaiah Thomas) in position to make game changing decisions.
http://img105.imageshack.us/img105/8027/nbatk8.jpgLet's take a look at the NBA logo. First thing you will notice is that the sihloutte is white. Is it that of Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball star ever? Nope, can't put a Black guy on the logo, so let's put the white guy that was responsible for assembling the 22-60 Memphis Grizzlies this year on the logo.
White guys from Duke keep getting drafted in the 1st round despite never showing any signs of athleticism or stardom in the NBA.
Utah Jazz.

They shot layups, we shot jumpers. They got to the foul line, we didn't. They got offensive rebounds," Baron Davis said. "We just got outmuscled, outmanned under the basket. That's why we lost."

They were the better team and they showed it. Point blank," he said. "No need for us to be bitter. We had a great year." link (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs2007/columns/story?columnist=hollinger_john&id=2871971)

How racist of Davis and Jackson to claim the 'whiter' team was superior. :gomer: I'll bet Sharpton and Jesse are headed to Oaktown for a sitdown with these two.

I did enjoy TBS's broadcast team showing that each ref in Game 5 had either ejected or called multiple technical/personal fouls against a Warrior in previous games. Coincidence?
