Champcar at Bathurst International Motorsport Festival

The Bathurst International Motorsport Festival is on this weekend with the main race being a production car race, the WPS 12 hour.

As part of the lead up events, Team Australia will be doing a demonstration lap or two in a Champcar.

If you can remember they were going to do the same thing last year, but had engine issues.

Gore likes to make trouble for the V8 Supercars, so look for a big effort to lower the track record.Current record is 2.06 set in 2004.

if they push hard they should be able to got 1:50 or less. who is driving it?

an f3 car was going to do a lap there last year also, i reckon maybe 1:55 around bathurst for one of those.
