Perhaps my favorite day of the year.:D

Parade Day tomorrow. I'll have some pics of our entry. You will likey. Hemi powered short school buss with headers, chromed out wheels, 2000w stero system, and green metal-flake paint.

This will get you in the mood.

You're like an Irish Eric Cartman.:)

I have a wee bit o' Erin in me blood myself laddy. Plus I like to drink and fight and sing bar songs about drinkin' and fightin'. :D Come St Patty's Day I drink even more and try not to fight (but no promises).

Cocktail
In recent months a cocktail known as the "Shane MacGowan", named in honour of the singer, has become popular in Aberdeen's Moshulu Club. The drink contains Whiskey, Tequila, Creme Dè Mure, Cranberry Juice and Lemonade. It's origin is unknown.:yuck:

Its gonna be a long day, but a good one....

i'll be up early enough to catch the start of the sebring race, then head out to my local pub The Kildare house (http://www.myspace.com/kildarehouse) to catch an early lunch of irish stew (mmmm) and guinness, and to listen to my buddy Clinton as he does the first set starting at 11. I'll still be there when Mick O'Brien rolls in to start the middle round 4 pm. I'll head over to the folks for a bit to wish them a happy anniversary (march 17th? really? who thought that was a good idea! Nobody asked me about the date when they got married 40 years ago)

Back home for a bit to watch the F1 race with some chat, then back out to kildare to catch the last set of Clinton, and then join all the surviving musicians and bar staff after close as everyone goes to a house and parties till the sun shines....

And sunday is a write off.

hope everyone has a safe one.
