Via Smackforum, I've read where CC is considering running ChampCars and Atlantics AT THE SAME TIME.

Question for those who have heard this: Are these tools REALLY considering this abortion of an idea? Seriously, are they that effin' stupid?

BTW: This bunch is making Tonytard's operation look downright professional.:shakehead

I've heard the new 2 seater pace car will actually be participating in the race as well. It's paid for and it increases the car count. :p

Its been done before (edit: i don;t think CC or EARL, but alms, F1, etc have).

And with this current group? I think anything is possible.:shakehead

F2 ran with F1 about a million years ago.

FWIW, I heard the Ford pace cars weren't decomissioned but are actually being prepped to race alongside the Atlantics and Champ Cars.

I believe it was made up as bait for AR1 and the folks at crapwagon. It appears there are a few here with the hook in their mouth as well.

What's the point? Does it make it seem like there is more passing? Are you trying to confuse the viewer's more? Need more moving chicanes? Wouldn't there be a general agreement that Atlantic cars just move out of the way of Champ Cars?

normally, i enjoy blue-flagging, except when we have an scca group with 4-6 different classes and 35+ cars

You need to invest in a flagpole, and just fly the blue for 40 minutes! :D

Combined national classes was one issue that led me to quit SCCA racing.
