They didn't turn the MRN announcer's mic off when they went to commercial right after the finish and he dropped an F-bomb on the air.

So how many Toyotas are in the field?

dcracer
02-15-07, 08:33 PM
Uh oh, problem in post race inspection for the 24 car. It appears the car was too low and failed the template inspection. No decision yet on penalties, if any will be assessed, Speed speculating Gordon may have to start the 500 from the tail end of the field.

Did Gordon wreck Montoya, or was it just rubbin?

edit: n/m

"Rookie Formula 1 expatriate Juan Pablo Montoya led from Lap 5 to Lap 22 in an impressive performance, but a cut tire dropped him to the end of the field."

Wheel-Nut

I don't pay much attention to cabs - why would there be so many cut tires?

Wheel-Nut
02-16-07, 08:02 PM
I don't know why they would cut tires at Daytona. Here are the recommended tire presures from Goodyear.

Recommended Tire Inflation:
Left-front -- 55 psi; Left-rear -- 50 psi;
Right-front -- 30 psi; Right-rear -- 30 psi

Where could I find the lap by lap report for yesterdays races?

coolhand
02-16-07, 09:34 PM
No they cut the tires by getting the fenders bent in so they rub

Which tracks do they have tire liners? Faster ones?
