That's not a positive sign for Scott Speed is it? Could Red Bull want him to be the one coming to ChampCar, whether he wants to or not? (With Jani at PKV) One story has Doornbos breaking from his manager since the '03 F3000 season because of his desire to race in CC this season and it looks like he's in, so who would that leave to fill the seat next to Vitantonio?;)

Team says nobody else is under consideration and Speed will be announced after a few "contract issues" are worked out. (Gigantic cut in pay?)

What pay? Doesn't Speed have one of those price controlled slave contracts from the Red Bull driver program?

I vote for the Sex Cannon to take the STR seat. It would be the best thing to happen to F1 in the US since David Coulthard confused Letterman's audience.

Except for every F3 and up dickbag with a $5,000,000 check. Berger was Senna's tightest homey because they were the biggest *******s in the paddock.

Speed is finally signed, but only after Berger once again reminds us he (Berger) is still the same world class prick he's always been by questioning Speed's commitment to the press.

even though Blow-Hard was expressing his doubts about Speed, I got the sense that blowhard was resigned into accepting that he had to go with Speed.

What kind of commitment is needed when a team is doing none of the design & fabrication work in-house?
