Bernie gets more Arabian oil bucks.

The 5.6km circuit on Yas Island will include street and marina sections.

A year old article about development plans for Yas Island.

Looks like Bernie is now firmly commited to the street race concept. Say good bye to F1 on the great tracks of Europe.

Europe is just one little part of the world, F1 has a worldwide audience.

This year's schedule:

Europe - 10 races
Australia - 1
Middle East - 1
Asia - 3
North America - 2
South America - 1
Africa - 0

So let's not get too worried just yet... Europe still dominates the schedule, making up more than half of the races.
