High Performance short block for 350Z. Nice. Order me up one and I'll become CosworthZ;) Glad to see Cosworth Engineering doing something besides Ford. Coincidence we hear this at the same time as Ford is dropped from the new CC series logo?

In spite of the lack of "Powered by..." sponsorship they still have blue ovals on the cowling so I think Ford's position is safe - at least for now.

Well Nissan Cosworth takes on a whole new meaning today!
Or perhaps Infiniti Cosworth!

FWIW Cosworth now offer a comprehensive line of performance parts for the 3.5l V6. Short block, complete Big Valve heads, and all the parts that make them up.

Two pages of goodies for the VQ35DE:

BTW, this is the Nissan engine used in the Renault World Series.

Yeah. A turbo Nissan/Cosworth V-6 in CC's future. An Infinity-8? A Mazda turbo-4. Whatever works and whoever wants to pony up. Cosworth can make it work. It'd "be good for business."-KK.

No need to cry, CC will soon take somebody's money and put THEIR logo on the valve covers and my guess is they'll be a better partner than Ford was. (which is to say they'll invest more cash) Any guesses?

It pains me, but my guess is Fonda.

RM reported:

Champ Car is thought to be talking with Hyundai, Cadillac and Mazda about replacing Ford.

FWIW

And GM (Chevrolet) has worked with Cosworth before.

A Cadiworth? Cosillac? CCC? I'll take Mazda out of that bunch, but doesn't Ford hold majority ownership there?

I like the thought of a 2.0 l Mitsubishi to form a nice basis for a future production based engine. I'd be willing to run some of their parts in my engine to help Champcar out;)

It makes vehicles with such brands as Aston Martin, Ford, Jaguar, Lincoln, Mercury, and Volvo. Among its biggest successes are the redesigned Ford Mustang and F-Series pickup. Ford owns a controlling (33%) stake in Mazda and also controls the Land Rover SUV nameplate.

Hmmmm...so, how much does Ford want from KK to sell that 33% interest?;)
