Thats cool and all, but how is it different from a normal heart rate monitor? They have monitors that will record your heart and EKG's over time.

I caught the tale end of the segment as I rolled out of bed, so I will try to convey what I heard while still half asleep. From what I can understand, the main difference between this and a normal heart monitor is that it is a rest instead of those wonderful sticky patches that they use now. They interviewed a heart patient and he raved about how much more comfortable the vest thing they were using at the test is compared to the sticky patches.

The segment was quite interesting. And it was nice seeing Champ Car featured in the video explaining the new technology.
