Nice job Cam, keep the updates coming!!!

Will be interesting to see what happens to the PKV structure, I have a feeling that KK may just hand over the reins to Jimmy (maybe distancing himself from team ownership) whilst he (KK) concentrates even more on the Champcar business side of things!!!

I think Pettit should shake things up and use the last part of his name when he renames the team. Titsport has a nice ring to it.

quackforum is going ****ing nuts over this::tony:

It is beginning to look like a private racing series for guys with very thick wallets. The Pettit move could be viewed as a consolidation, and if Stoddart comes in, you coulf have a half dozen or so high rollers duking it out on the race track around the world, with little room for anyone that cannot afford the high price of admission.

sure sounds like EARL.

just to get my point across - why is this bad thing? a year ago we were broke! >>very bad thing - tony has more money than all of ccws combined!

now we got too much money and that makes us bad?

The moron from Chicago writes:

So the series owners are fielding almost half the field. Looks like 1 team from TG doesn't look so bad after all.

1 team doesn't look so bad. 14 cars, on the other hand, hmm... :shakehead

If V goes with P then I hope L gets a nice ride somewhere and W stays where he is and d rejoins the fray at 100%. Of course if R goes to N/H then B might find himself with S? Get out that hat!

Autosport.com has a blurb from Russo on leaving:

"So I had to make a decision, and I decided to make Calix the best business I can until I run out of skills or run out of inclination, and that isn't going to be any time soon."

However, Russo did not rule out a possible return to Champ Car in future years. "Remember, Jerry Forsythe left motorsport to concentrate on his other business before coming back.

"I love the sport, and I hold out great hope for the Champ Car World Series, the Panoz chassis, and the changing business model that the new chassis brings to bear."

Suppose the 'sale' has a buy-back clause? I suspect Carl will be back. Especially if the the team name remains RuSPORT.
