Very nice!

It's a long-version commercial/documentary on Ford BoldMoves, featuring Ms. Legge and Warriors In Pink.

Any new on that auction that was supposed to happen?

The helmet is up on eBay now.

Sidepod and a cam cover are too. The other stuff should be added later. Probably deserves it's own thread.

The eBay seller name is fordwarriorsinpink (http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZfordwarriorsinpinkQQhtZ-1).

The ebay auction has begun. A couple of pieces of Katherine's car are up for bid. Someone here has to shell out for that signed sidepod. :D

"To access the all of the items in the Ford Warriors in Pink auction go to www.ebay.com and enter Warriors in Pink in the search box. All of the proceeds from the auction will be given to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation."

Theoretical question. If you were to win that, do you leave it as-is and stick it in a display case, or do you clean all the crap off and polish it up before sticking in the trophy case?

I'm thinking polishing it would be a bad thing. Provenance is the favorite word of the collector folk...

Beginning to look like "racerphil" will not allow himself to be outbid.

I'm surprised no one wants the side pod. At least not yet. I'm told the eBay pros wait and bid at the end.

I'd like to have the sidepod. Richard asked me, "what are you gonna do with that?" I have no idea, but I want it.

Maybe if we took up a collection... :D ;)

If I were to spend >$500 on some broken car bits well, lets just say I'd end up in a shallow grave somewhere:cry:

Helmet up to $2300. Damn, you can buy a Schumacher Helmet for $4500, so $2300 seems pricey for the helmet of a chick who has accomplished nothing but drive into a wall.;)

You can't buy a real, race-worn, Schumacher anything for $4500.

Final bid on the auction was $6,825

This is a pretty good read. Check out the personal column. There's a lot of honesty, pretty refreshing for a driver.
