Maybe Honda told Porsche to buy a Rahal...

Rahal/Letterman will be racing a Porsche 997 in GT2.

GT2 seems like a rather insipid way for a team with pretensions like those held by Rahal/Letterman to enter racing in ALMS. What happened to all those big, big road racing plans, Bobby?

Nobody wanted to pay him enough to run a prototype. He may scrounge together a 2nd 997 though.

With Gigante a distant memory, no more Honda yen and Argent moving down the road with the princessmobile, I'm betting Rahal is finding out how hard it is to run a racing program with limited dollars.

Since it IS Porsche my guess is it's up to LMP1 customer cars the following season? I know Graham has open wheel in his future but he's made no secret of wanting to drive sportscars and his quote from long ago was "WE will be in ALMS at some point."

If nobody wants to pay Booby for a seat in a GT2 car some weekend he can always plug the kid in and say it's "for the seat time".
