I thought the Danicle was just a statistical anomaly according to IRL head cheeses:

Despite the changes, the TV numbers will likely be down overall compared to 2005 once the final rating for Chicagoland comes in later this week. (The race drew an overnight rating of 0.8, down about 25% from a season ago). Entering the finale, six races had lower numbers than 2005, six were higher and the others showed no change.

"You have to put those numbers up against the numbers that didn't include 'Danicamania'," IRL spokesman John Griffin says. "You have to look at the numbers from two years ago, and in that comparison we are up."

Danica Patrick drove the ratings for the Indy 500 in her rookie season in 2005 as well as several races thereafter. While still arguably the IRL's most popular driver, her appeal waned as she struggled along with the rest of her Rahal Letterman Racing team this season.

My god that chassis is ugly (not that it was ever good looking) in that paint scheme.

The graphic artist that designed that should be forced to work on American Chopper as punishment.

They ought to just paint the nose as a huge dick and get it over with.

On the bright side the seat in blue won't hide crap stains.
