Rock 101.1 WWDC had the best thing to listen to on my way into work this morning. Helio Castroneves loses the first ever “The Smell My Face Beltway Race” held this morning in Washington DC. The track was the 495 Beltway surrounding the city. The winner got to climb the fence in true spiderman fashion. That was actually a couple months ago, they were just re-running it today. I can't imagine why the IRL press office didn't play up the fact that one of their golden boys lost to this guy:

That Elliot in the morning guy is funny. I heard his show when I did the 12-Hours of Summit Point a few years ago and for some reason he sounded very familiar. I then learned that he was the morning guy on Pirate Radio in Los Angeles back when I was in High School. Cool cat that loves racing! :cool:

i just moved to dc for the summer and had no time to search for the "good stations" exscuse me

The short version is that there are no good stations in DC, but Elliot is at least listenable on those brain-dead mornings when anything more complicated than a fart joke makes you want to slam your head in the car door.

But he's certainly no Opie or Anthony. :gomer:
