Seems Sir Frank decided not to wait for Webber to make his mind up....

More evidence that Frank puts the team before the driver.

That sucks for Webber but it also might give him a chance to get a ride where the car might actually finish a race :shakehead

i think "poo-pooing" the toyota engine for next year was pretty much the last straw there, if not a signal that it was already decided.

Webbo has also been linked with RBR. I rate him highly, so that would be cool to see him in a Ferrari-engined Newey-designed chassis.

That article kills off the "going to Renault" rumours as well.Guess that loyalty to Williams paid off for Webber.Good move, Frank  :shakehead

Are both the McLaren seats taken for next year?

Are both the McLaren seats taken for next year? Won't know until Kimi decides what to do. Hope Webber ends up in a top seat. Loyalty to Williams by a driver is always going to get repaid with a kick to the groin.

One of the best FW quotes I have ever heard. Alan Jones complained about the harshmess of the suspension after the rubber skirts were outlawed. FW told him to "sit on yer wallet"

Williams best days are gone. I see them as the new Tyrell, fighting the good fight but falling further behind in what has become modern F1. Until a major engine deal is signed, they will never consistently contend for podiums.

webber also said williams going to yoda is a mistake and that the yoda engine is a POS compared to cossie
